Susan Kotcher

Susan Kotcher is a seasoned senior leader, creative fundraising strategist, and external relations expert who has built, restructured, and led high-performing teams for major international and national nonprofits. Susan joined Helen Keller Intl in 2020 as Chief External Relations Officer and in 2025, became Chief Growth and Branding Officer, leading the organization’s flexible funding, visibility-raising, and US program strategies.

Susan brings decades of experience to Helen Keller from the Rubin Museum, Pro Mujer, International Rescue Committee, UNICEF USA, and Planned Parenthood Federation of America. In her various roles, Susan has helped  organizations grow their philanthropy, rally new donors, advance their media and thought leadership, and strengthened brands and missions. Earlier in Susan’s career, she was an advocate and political organizer for voting and reproductive rights. Susan is based in New York.
